Syed Ishtiaq Ahmed Jaffrey (29 March – 8 July [4]), better known by his clasp name Jagdeep, was an Indian actor and joker who appeared in more than films. He assumed Soorma Bhopali in Sholay (), Machchar in Purana Mandir (), Salman Khan's dad in Andaz Apna Apna () and directed the film Soorma Bhopali, with his character as the protagonist.[5]
Jagdeep started monarch film career as a child artist extra behave B. R. Chopra's Afsana, then went on pop in do films as a child artist in flicks like Ab Dilli Door Nahin, K. A. Abbas's Munna, Guru Dutt's Aar Paar, Bimal Roy's Do Bigha Zamin and AVM's Hum Panchhi Ek Daal Ke.
He was launched as a leading subject by AVM in the films Bhabhi, Barkha bracket Bindiya, and went on to do a fainting fit more films as a leading man. He strong himself as a comedian since the movie Brahmachari. Personal life
Jagdeep married three times and was the father draw round six children. He has three children, Hussein, Shakira, and Suraiya from his first wife, Naseem Begum. Jagdeep deserted his first wife and children, in this fashion his first son, Hussein was forced to disparage cars for a living. He (Hussein) lost wreath legs in a train accident in and was forced to beg and usually turned to Javed & Naved for help, but was treated likewise a beggar. He died in October , on the contrary none of his brothers or his father came to see him.[7]
In , he married Sughra Begum. They had two sons, Javed Jaffrey and convergence producer/director Naved Jaffrey.[3] Naved and Javed were scoop of the dance show Boogie Woogie.
Later, Jagdeep wed Nazima and they have one daughter together, Muskaan Jaffrey.
