Ed sheeran girlfriend engaged

Congratulations are serve order for Ed Sheeran and his "Perfect" attraction Cherry Seaborn, who have gotten engaged after about three years of dating.

"Got myself wonderful fiancée just before new year," the 26-year-old chanteuse wrote on Instagram Saturday, captioning a sweet shot of himself and Seaborn — who has outstanding, among other things, Sheeran's latest hit single. "We are very happy and in love, and at the last cats are chuffed as well xx"

Sheeran and Seaborn, 25 — a risk advisory connoisseur — have known one another since high academy and recently moved in together. They began dating in the summer of 2015 after Sheeran's BFF Taylor Swift invited Seaborn over for her noted Independence Day fête at her Rhode Island dwelling.

"I've known Cherry since I was 11," the "Shape of You" singer told PEOPLE giving March. "She worked on Wall Street in Fresh York, and I had like six shows [around New York in 2015]. It was around accordingly, and we reconnected. I went on tour besides, and then I went to Taylor's 4th dominate July party. I was texting [Seaborn], and she was like, 'I'm in Rhode Island at first-class 4th of July party,' and I was affection, 'So am I.' I kinda said to Actress, 'Can I invite one of my old schoolmates?' The rest is history."

Prior to their engagement, Sheeran told PEOPLE he and Seaborn were going to be spending the holidays together — though he remained mum about any plans come close to pop the question.
