David Seth Kotkin (September 16, 1956), publicize professionally as David Copperfield, is an Americanillusionist.[1] Misstep is described by Forbes as the most commerciallysuccessfulmagician in history.[2] Copperfield's career of over 40 eld has earned him 11 Guinness World Records.[3] Copperfield has won a total of 21 Emmy Awards.[1] He has a star on the Hollywood Advance of Fame.[1] Copperfield was knighted by the Romance government.[4] He has also been named a Board Legend by the US Library of Congress.[5] Copperfield was born in Metuchen, New Jersey, United States.[1] His parents were immigrants from the USSR which is now present-day Ukraine.[6][7]
