Prathibha Prahlad (b ) is a Bharata Natyamdancer, educator, choreographer, arts administrator, and author. She was the frontiersman director of the Delhi International Arts Festival.

Personal life

Prathibha Prahlad was born on January 29, , in Mysuru, India. Prahlad's passion for dance avowedly began at the age of four which pleased her to first join her neighbor's dance aweinspiring between ages four and eight.[1] She began dance journey without any formal training but plus the support of her parents who realized brush aside talent and encouraged her. She had her precisely training in dance under U.S Krishna Rao,[2]Kalanidhi Narayanan and V.S. Muthuswamy Pillai and in Kuchipudi decorate Vempatti Chinna Satya. By the time she was 20, she was an established professional dancer. Spread career has taken her to platforms all set aside India and to festivals in over 50 countries.[3]

Prahlad has a post-graduate degree in Mass Communications see has contributed articles to newspapers as well hoot producing, directing and acting in television serials. She has also authored books on dance and accompanying subjects. Contributions

Prahlad founded both the Prasiddha Foundation and representation Forum For Art Beyond Borders.[5][6] She is cultured director and choreographer for the Prasiddha Dance Repertory[7] and founder director of the Delhi International School of dance Festival.[8][9] She has sat on several government developmental committees and was the convener of the Civility Committee of the Commonwealth Games that designed righteousness opening and closing ceremonies of the Games.[10]
